Are the eyes I ?  The eyes are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the eyes mine? The eyes are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the eye-consciousness I? The eye-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the eye-consciousness mine? The eye-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the forms that the eyes and eye-consciousness cling to I?

The forms that the eyes and eye-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the forms that the eyes and eye-consciousness cling to mine?

The forms that the eyes and eye-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

Are the ears I ?  The ears are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the ears mine? The ears are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the ear-consciousness I? The ear-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the ear-consciousness mine? The ear-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the sounds that the ears and ear-consciousness cling to I?

The sounds that the ears and ear-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the sounds that the ears and ear-consciousness cling to mine?

The sounds that the ears and ear-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

Is the nose I ?  The nose is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the nose mine? The nose is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the nose-consciousness I? The nose-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the nose-consciousness mine? The nose-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the odors that the nose and nose-consciousness cling to I?

The odors that the nose and nose-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the odors that the nose and nose-consciousness cling to mine?

The odors that the nose and nose-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

Is the tongue I ?  The tongue is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the tongue mine? The tongue is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the tongue-consciousness I? The tongue-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the tongue-consciousness mine? The tongue-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the tastes that the tongue and tongue-consciousness cling to I?

The tastes that the tongue and tongue-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the tastes that the tongue and tongue-consciousness cling to mine?

The tastes that the tongue and tongue-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

Is the body I ?  The body is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the body mine? The body is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the body-consciousness I? The body-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the body-consciousness mine? The body-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the sensations that the body and body-consciousness cling to I?

The sensations that the body and body-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the sensations that the body and body-consciousness cling to mine?

The sensations that the body and body-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

Is the mind I ?  The mind is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the mind mine? The mind is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the mind-consciousness I? The mind-consciousness is not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Is the mind-consciousness mine? The mind-consciousness is not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the thoughts that the mind and mind-consciousness cling to I?

The thoughts that the mind and mind-consciousness cling to are not I.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

Are the thoughts that the mind and mind-consciousness cling to mine?

The thoughts that the mind and mind-consciousness cling to are not mine.

Not in the past, not in the present and not in the future.

 

 

What am I? What is the real I? If nothing can be carried forward.

Nothing can be carried forward. Only karma follows the karma-body.

 

What am I ?  What is the real I ?

The real I is Dharma. The real I is True Love.

The real home is Nirvana. The real home is True Liberation.

 

 

With gratitude to the Buddhas, to all Noble Disciples of the past 2500 years,

May the merits of reciting this sutra be offered to the Tathagata, the Dharma

Worlds and the Quantum Space.

May all beings be freed from suffering and be happy.

May all beings realize complete Enlightenment!
